Camping Adventure!

Over Labor Day weekend some friends and I went camping in Rocky Mountain National Park. First Camilla, Lizzy, and I miraculously set up the tent. Then we roasted hot dogs and Jeremy roasted marshmallows, (the most delicious, perfectly roasted, creamy marshmallows ever!) After an evening of fun including High School Musical reinactions, and stupid jokes we went to bed. The next day we took a long, strenuous, 0.6 mile hike to Alberta Falls and played in the water.

Cali-forn-i-a

For the past month of my life this is where I have been living! After my brother and sister-in-law had their third baby I went out to San Jose, CA to live with them for the month and help them out. As you can see I've had tons of fun, but I'm glad to finally be home again.

Our last night there we played in the fountains.

Los Angeles

Intersection of Hollywood and Highland

My last adventure in California was going to Los Angeles. We walked down Hollywood Blvd., saw the Walk of Fame, and drove through Beverly Hills and Rodeo Dr. It is a huge city!

San Francisco

On one of Brian's day off we went and spent the day in San Francisco. The city was crazy and tons fun. I have never driven on such steep, narrow roads in my life. We started by going to Coit Tower were we could overlook the entire city, (you can barely see the golden gate bridge through all the fog.) After that we drove down Lumbar St. it is the whindiest road in the US, went to Pier 39 where we ate dinner at Bubba Gumps and finished off by of course driving through the gay district downtown (Castro St.) where we saw tons of hilarious shops.
On top of Coit Tower

All of us in front of Pier 39

Taiden, Ash, and I, and the amazing view from the parking garage.

My new boyfriend....Patrick

the beaches

Bean State Beach

This is at Bean State beach. It was so beautiful. It was so fun to climb around and discover things. We found a couple crabs, a starfish, and tons of snails.
Brian and I had a really bad idea for me to pretend to be Ariel, the little mermaid, as you can see from the lack of pictures it didn't work out as well as planned. After stummbling out to a rock, getting in mermaid position, and getting drenched with freezing cold water from the huge ocean waves, Brian didn't even get a picture... Note to self: I'm a way better human than mermaid.

Santa Cruz

This is the first beach I went to in Santa Cruz, CA. We spent the day in the sun and had tons of fun in the sand. Aparently I have some kind of mermaid fetish cuz here I am again trying to be one. After swimming a while this sea lion came and joined us, luckily he was nice, and isn't he cute!

Boyd is back!

Boyd was a missionary that served in my singles ward for 14 months. He was a great missionary and a great friend so we were all thrilled when he came back to visit! Although he broke his leg the second day here, we still had fun playing games and these pictures are from our adventure to Estes Park.
