Camping Adventure!
Over Labor Day weekend some friends and I went camping in Rocky Mountain National Park. First Camilla, Lizzy, and I miraculously set up the tent. Then we roasted hot dogs and Jeremy roasted marshmallows, (the most delicious, perfectly roasted, creamy marshmallows ever!) After an evening of fun including High School Musical reinactions, and stupid jokes we went to bed. The next day we took a long, strenuous, 0.6 mile hike to Alberta Falls and played in the water.

For the past month of my life this is where I have been living! After my brother and sister-in-law had their third baby I went out to San Jose, CA to live with them for the month and help them out. As you can see I've had tons of fun, but I'm glad to finally be home again.

San Francisco
On one of Brian's day off we went and spent the day in San Francisco. The city was crazy and tons fun. I have never driven on such steep, narrow roads in my life. We started by going to Coit Tower were we could overlook the entire city, (you can barely see the golden gate bridge through all the fog.) After that we drove down Lumbar St. it is the whindiest road in the US, went to Pier 39 where we ate dinner at Bubba Gumps and finished off by of course driving through the gay district downtown (Castro St.) where we saw tons of hilarious shops.

the beaches
Bean State Beach
This is at Bean State beach. It was so beautiful. It was so fun to climb around and discover things. We found a couple crabs, a starfish, and tons of snails.
Brian and I had a really bad idea for me to pretend to be Ariel, the little mermaid, as you can see from the lack of pictures it didn't work out as well as planned. After stummbling out to a rock, getting in mermaid position, and getting drenched with freezing cold water from the huge ocean waves, Brian didn't even get a picture... Note to self: I'm a way better human than mermaid.
