"Bermuda, BAHAMAS, come on pretty mamas. . .

...Jamacia off the Florida Keys"

Well we didn't get to Kocamo or Bermuda or the Florida Keys, but we did cruise to the Bahamas! For Amber's birthday, Cortney surprised her with a Bahaman Cruise with her 2 favorite people of course!

It all started with a RED EYE flight out to Miami, we were excited, but note to us. . . next time fly during the day.

After a 4 hour layover, we finally got there and on our bus that shipped us off to out big ol boat!

The Carnival Imagination

our view from the back of the ship
. . . And we're off. . . Next stop Bahamas. . .

The Beach!!!!

We had tons of fun playing in the ocean once we got the hang of it, after only a few wipe outs from the crashing waves!

The salty water did however do a number on our throats and burning eyes!

Make-up less. . . ScARy

We sure did have plenty of experiences and memerable moments! Like the fact Talia and Amber conviced me to volunteer for anything and everything

"look at me"

Just a little Kareokee. . . Yeah its true, we sang "Any Man of Mine" by Shania Twain, in front of an audiance consiting of at least 75% black people. . . can you say Hicks! I did spare you all of the other incriminating video of myself shaking my thing. . .Be greatful!

We also enjoyed lots of Girl Time!

and we did get a little love. . .

A cruise is not a cruise without ICE CREAM all day everyday! Fantastic

Our boat docked early monday morning and we had lots of time to kill so we went to the Miami Seaquarium and saw all theses cute little creatures. . .

But all good thing must come to an end

We finally made it home after hour after hours of delays with us stuck in a stinky corner basement airport gate and Amber sick as a dog. . .not exactly the best ending to our vacation but. . .

Sleepless in Seattle

Welcome to Seattle. . .our first stop Gas Station! and of course we cant forget to capture a photo, wouldn't want to forget that!

After landing, and fillin' up the tank, we headed to Ocean Shores, WA, a town a couple hours away right along the west coast. Camilla's friend let us crash in a beach house they owned there for our first couple days. Since it was so late when we got in we couldn't quite appreciate its beach side view, but when I woke up the next morning and looked out the window from my bed. . .

TA DA!

(Can you see the waves)

Good Morning! Of course we couldnt all sleep in differnet rooms so after an interesting time transporting mattresses through an elevator that was, to say the least less than reliable, we all shared a room. . . just one big happy family! After enjoying the view we bundled up and walked to the beach. . .

It was just a little cold. . . But it was a good thing Lizzy and I bought rain boots for our Seattle adventure cuz they kept our toes toasty warm!

we spent to rest of the day looking around town, and beginning out souviner collection :o)
this shark head was the entrance into a gift shop, and the perfect place for some more pictures!

I really wanted to see an actual lighthouse so we googled it and found the closest and supposedly largest one and headed out. After much annoyance and alot of you turns, we found it! If you notice its surrounded by trees we couldnt even see water. . .that was... Unexpected.
Our last night there, which also happened to be Camila's Birthday eve, We had a little campfire on the beach!
We loaded up with layers of clothes, flashlights, and Amp energy drinks! As you can see we also had a good time taking a couple more pictures. . .

Not long after being in Washington we aquired a obsession. Gooey Duck Hunting (which im pretty sure is actually illegal...oh well). Dash Point was our token hunting ground, and we had a little success

We also of course did some Site Seeing in Seattle!

Pikes Place Market

Muah!

Wall of yummy chewed gum

Fremont Troll in the movie "10 Things I Hate About You"

Flying kites

View of Seattle from of course a Ferry ride!

One of the only things I HAD to do while in Seattle was eat seafood on the Pier! We found a restaurant called the Crab Pot that was everything I wanted and more :o) They dumped buckets of crab, corn on the cob, and muscles on the table and we just went to town beating things with our little mallats with our bibs on! SO GREAT!

then on to. . .

GaS WoRkS PaRk
Of course to trip to Seattle would be complete with out seeing and going up. . .

the SPACE NEEDLE!

were we also left a little of us behind. . .

Last stop in Seattle or at least by post of Seattle. . . the Seattle Temple, of course it was gorgeous and so peaceful, a great way to spend our sunday afternoon!
We all had such a good time in Seattle, but were ready to be home for some much needed rest!

Did hell FREEZE over?. . .

. . . Nope its true!

I finally got a job at a salon!

At the beginning of November I applied for a position at a new salon opening in Greeley. The day before Thanksgiving I got a call from them and set up my first interview. Three interviews, and a cut/color demonstration later, I was offered a full time STYLIST position at Beauty and The Beach Tanning and Hair Salon. WOO HOO!! After much anticipation the salon is now open for business and I am finally doing what I love to do as my career! I am so grateful for this opportunity and I am looking forward to what lies ahead!

He Loves Me. . .

He Loves Me Not. . .

HaPPy 2010!!!

A couple days after christmas I headed to Iowa with my sister and her fam. They were going to spend time with Corts family so I decided to tag along and take a little trip backto where I grew up!

We were there over New Years so we spent New Years Eve celebrating by playing tons of different games and video games and spending time togehter. At MIDNIGHT we banged pans and I got kisses from some of my favorite pepole, my nieces!!!

We had lots of fun, it was a great way to ring in the new year!
